COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ray Whitney was supposed to make his return to
Nationwide Arena on Thursday. It was supposed to be his first game
there since he left the Blue Jackets and signed with the Red Wings in
the off-season. But he sat out for the second consecutive night
because of a sore groin.
