Darius is getting married to a girl name Brandy. Brandy is Q.
Richardson cousin. Q. Richardson is dating Brandy the singer. That's
kinda funny. And yes Brandy was in college is has 2 degree's and is
going back to get another one. Darius probably go in get a degree
doing his free time. Darius is getting married next year in July.
His wedding is not going to be held in East Saint Louis neither.
Darius is getting a house built some where close to East Saint Louis
but I can't say where.

KG is without a doubt one of the most dominant players in the league.
He plays with more heart than anyone else in the NBA. I mean don't
get me wrong D Miles is still #1 in my book but KG is off da chain!
Those 2 players are the reason i wear the #21 as well. Come on yall,

isnt given nearly enough credit. If you watched Game 7 last night and

What does everyone here think.  Will they get the 8th seed or not.
They're in a great race with Denver and Utah for the final spot and I
think they have been playing better than those 2 teams and they'll
make the playoffs. So what's everyone else's thoughts.

The Blazers beat the Celtics 105-98 and DM was the game's high scorer
with 31. 10 of his 31 came in the 3rd quarter. His previous career
high was 26 which he has scored 3 times. Miles wasn't the only player
having a good game, as a team Portland shot 61% from the field.

``This is my first time playing with a lot of veteran players,'' said

According to the accounts from Woods and Miles to teammates, and to
Blazers president Steve Patterson, the fight started when three men
jumped Woods in the strip club after Woods pushed away a man who had
blocked his path. Earlier, the man had chastised Woods for not
acknowledging their presence as Blazers fans.

According to the players' versions, Miles then came to Woods' defense
and a brawl ensued, spilling into the parking lot of the Exotica
International Club for Men at 240 N.E. Columbia Blvd.

During the parking lot melee, the other men loaded into a white car
and sped at a standing Woods, attempting to pin him against another
car. Woods avoided impact by hopping onto the car's hood.

"Until there is some information that indicates the story is other
than what was presented to me, I can't justify any penalties,"
Patterson said.

Portland police were called to the scene, but the parties had left by
then, and no charges have been filed. However, the Northeast Precinct
is investigating the incident and has notified Woods and Miles that
they might need to be interviewed.

Northeast Precinct Commander Bret Smith said one complainant suffered
minor injuries after one of the Blazers players reportedly threw an
ashtray-type garbage container at him.

Still, the prevailing theory with the Blazers is that Woods and Miles
were baited, then attacked.

"The situation with Darius and Qyntel is crazy," forward Ruben
Patterson said. "The other guys were starting stuff, starting a
fight. There are two sides to a story. They started talking trash to
Qyntel, then Darius came and saw three guys jumping on Qyntel."

At practice Friday, neither Miles nor Woods had cuts, bruises or
swelling, and Cheeks said both looked normal while practicing. Cheeks
also cautioned the public against jumping to conclusions before the
investigation is complete.

"It seems as though every time something happens with a Trail Blazer,
we automatically assume it's on them," Cheeks said. "I don't think
that is right. You have to hear the facts and see what it is until
you can make an assumption about who's right and who's wrong. That's
the right thing to do."

The incident comes at an especially inopportune time for the Blazers
(34-34), who are on a late-season surge to make the playoffs. The
Blazers have won four of their past five games and are one game
behind Denver for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference
with 14 games remaining.

The Blazers play Orlando tonight at the Rose Garden, and Steve
Patterson said both players will be eligible to compete.

"This is not a distraction," Cheeks said. "We're just going to go out
and continue to do the things we've been doing, and Darius and Qyntel
have got to take care of themselves. I talked with them and told them
we have to keep from putting ourselves in those types of situations.
But it's not always the players' fault."

Miles, 22, said he will cooperate with the investigation.

"I feel real bad about the situation," Miles said. "It's a
distraction to my team, and a distraction to the Portland fans, who
have been treating me so well since I have been here. We are focusing
on the playoffs, and I'm just sorry we are talking about this right
now."

Woods, who had two marijuana-related run-ins with the law in the past
two years, said only: "I got into a situation that we couldn't get
out of."

Steve Patterson said he will wait until the investigation is complete
to determine if there will be any punishment.

"I know what Qyntel and Darius had to say, and their view of what
went on is basically (they were attacked)," Patterson said. "And I
don't have any reason at this point in time to doubt that. But this
is an ongoing investigation, and once we get the facts, we will see
where it shakes out."
