well, they havent been winning a whole lot since the trade.. not like
toronto who has been scoring alot and winning.. naturally, their
defense isnt that good without williams and davis, but they can score
as well as anyone.. marshall has been great..
anyway, at least they won last nite..
jet
> crawford and whoever the hell is playing SG and SF are gonna have to
score.
Crawford is scoring and scoring well...tho they lost by 1 point
tonight. he had another high scoring game.
it helps that chandler is on the IL.. but i prefer Chandler and Curry
getting most of the minutes.. i know they arent the best defenders,
but they are the future.. if they werent, why did we waste all this
time on them..??
as for Rose, hes not going much up in toronto..the true winner of
the deal was Donyell marshall, so far. hes had 2 excellent games for
them.. and i think it makes vince carter better.. clearly, i think
toronto has the best results from the deal.. none of the guys we
picked up are really going to help our offense any. crawford and
whoever the hell is playing SG and SF are gonna have to score.
Skiles first game with the bulls starts off good. And as much as i
liked rose and the rest...i like the 3 we picked up. Williams played
an awsome game tonight. Lets hope they keep it up.
well, we've been hearing about rose being traded ever since he
joined the bulls, and now he has been traded.. along with Baxter and
Donyell Marshall, they get sent to the Raptors for Antonio Davis,
Jerome Williams and Chris Jefferies.. i dont like this trade and im
not happy with the players we got for both Rose and Marshall..and
Baxter was a pretty good player himself.. paxson says it adds defense
to the bulls.. i dont really see how.. i thought chandler and eddy
curry were pretty much set in the Pf and C positions..? antonio davis
doesnt score much.. he adds a few boards.. thats about it..
i dunno.. i think we should have come away with vince carter or
something.. not these 3 scrubs.. paxson is an idiot in this trade..
and the hiring of skiles..
blah bulls..
jt
living in arizona, i have this much to say.. im not too impressed at
all with the hiring of Scott Skiles as coach.. the bulls management
was far too hasty in firing Cartwright.. they cant stick to a regular
starting lineup.. of course, itd help if everyone stayed healthy..
but these players need to know who is gonna start and who comes off
the bench.. i dont like Skiles.. he didnt do anything, with a
talented Phoenix team.. i see nothing from him this year..
i think the bulls will get better.. but all the playoff talk, i
believe, was too much to expect this year.. and even if they could
get there, is that all we should settle for..? some teams we just
couldnt beat in a 5-7 game series.. not the lakers.. not sacramento..
not dallas.. not the spurs..
anyway, happy thanksgiving.. have a good weekend..
go bulls.
jt
Bulls lose again droping their record to 4-11. Orlando is 1-13... Im
starting to see a trend. Orlandos coach was fired because of their
record and on monday Cartwright was fired because of the record. "The
team is underperforming and we have to find ways to win, period. This
represents the first change, but not necessarily the last." Said John
Paxson. And with talks of trading rose to toronto, its starting to
look like they are going back to the drawing board.
They won again lastnight 109 to 106 vs the hornets, it was a road game
no less. sad thing is they are doing better at road games than home
games. Home: 1-3 Road: 2-1 Im glad they are doing better at road
games but your supposed to be better at home games than road games.
Also I really have no love for pipen any more. Hes just not as good
as he used to be. As for Rose he put up some good numbers in
lastnights game. Scoring 34 points. Now the rookie kirk hinrick, he
had 9 turnovers! i know hes still learning but that is just sad. and
in just that 1 game.
well, they did win on the road tonite.. against a decent team in
orlando.. though im not sure whats up with Rose so far this season..
his numbers are well down from normal.. and Curry hasnt been playing
that well either, it seems... and not surprisingly, pippen is hurt..
does this guy ever stay healthy? doubtful.. but it was a good win
tonite..

stat categories before the season starts..
yes, i am commissioning this year.. i havent run a league in a few
years, but i wanted something to keep me busy and i want some
competitive managers.. draft time i cant really change..
thanks..

im rather disappointed with the bulls off-season moves.. especially
with Jay Williams getting hurt.. im not quite sold on this team.. all
those rumors about a big trade with Minnesota for Kevin Garnett never
came to anything, but i wish it had.. i like curry and crawford on
this team.. williams, if he's healthy and works on those free
throws..not really sold on chandler, and i think fizer makes a great
6th man.. but i guess we will see how this season starts.. hopefully
not slow like last year..

I heard that the Clippers have matched the offer sheet by Miami for
Lamar Odom
bigfootedwards2 you were right about one of them, pipen did infact
come back to the bull. i honestly believe they can make it this year,
the new guys finally got a good leader. if they dont make it, lets
atleast hope for more wins than loss's this year =\
Hey,
Does anybody have one of the old "No Bull" posters featuring Jordan,
Pippen and Rodman for sale? I want one that is in excellent
condition (no tears, no fading, etc.).
Thanks,

I heard from the Chicago Tribune web site that both Horace Grant and
Scottie Pippen have said that they would like to return to the Bulls.
I think it would be a good idea, Scottie and Horace would be a good
mentors to the young players and both of them late got that fire to
compete.
yeah, i do that when i look at the sports cards i have of the
bulls.. and it wasnt just rodman.. the 3 championships before that
had Horace Grant and Bill Cartwright and John Paxson..
the problem now is Krause and his inability to entice players to
join the team.. everyone knows he is the reason the Bulls' run
ended.. he ran MJ and Pippen out.. and without them, Rodman wouldnt
have done anything but cause more disruption than the team could
handle..
i will always stick to my thought that Krause needs to get fired
or whatever.. the team would be better without him..
jt
i was just thinking to myself today and started remembering the years
when the team was the best there
was....Jordan...Pipen...Rodman...Kucoch(sp?)...Kerr... That was the
best line-up you could have. Oh he good old days lol
