We got David Vaughn for Jason Caffey. Vaughn was
dropped about a week after he was acquired and Simpkins
resigned after the season. Neither are in the NBA
anymore.<br><br>I liked Caffey too and he could be a solid
journeyman forward if he remains healthy - which he hasn't
the last couple years. My only gripe about him is the
Bulls choose him while Michael Finley was still
available. MICHAEL FINLEY! Imagine where the rebuilding
process would be now if the Bulls picked him over Caffey.
I don't know if the scouts just failed to see his
potential of if it's Krause's theory of not drafting
hometown guys...<br>I should not be so hard on Voskuhl. He
was the last Bulls pick this year and second rounders
typically make no impact in the NBA if they even make the
cut to begin with. I wish I could say I've seen
enough to know he's got potential, but he just hasn't
made any impression on me. Floyd hasn't played him
and, despite what anybody says, his foot tendonitis is
bogus...they're hiding him on the IR. If the guy can't get
minutes on a bad team, I'll assume he doesn't have a
bright NBA future.
