Re: Please help me identify this gun

Hello again, I have posted a couple of new pictures of my fledgling
collection. I have a couple of new additions, a new 6" barrel and
shroud for the .357 PPC and a few tools. As you can see, it is a six
shot, and I replaced the DAO hammer with a single action hammer. I am
in the market for 2", 4", and 8" heavy shroud barrels for the .357 and
for 2" and 4" heavy shroud barrels for the stainless .44. I recently
purchased a stainless 8" barrel and shroud for the .44 which will be
in pictures soon.

Wayne, how much do you know about the action cup and ppc pistols? What
caliber is yours. What calibers were they made in. I would love to
replace mine with a stainless version but not willing to lose the .357
power. I just ran across this one at a friends pawn shop and picked it
up but I do not have any real information on the gun as of now. I
would like to know when it was manufactured, what it came with and
anything else you can think of. I have been looking at the cylinder
and it is a little different than the other cylinders I have looked
at, it may be set up for moon clips but not sure. If it is, do I need
to always use them?
