Question about stainless steel parts...   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #681 of 2201 |
I have a stainless steel .44 magnum, and since I do a bit of ameture
gunsmithing on the side, I intend to customize it a bit. The Hammer
and trigger are fairly rough castings and could be cleaned up a bit,
so I intend to polish them.
My question is, Are these parts solid stainless (polishable), or are
they just flash-chromed carbon steel parts (in which case I would
destroy the finish if I polished them)?
