If it is blue and has adjustable sights it is probably a model 15, fixed
sights would be a model 14. Stainless, add a 7 in front of the number.

Is the barrel shroud straight or does it have a tang like projection
downward, back against the frame. That dates it somewhat and limits
the availability of aftermarket stuff.

I can help you with most anything you need. I am a Dan Wesson
distributor now.

Where was it made, Monson or Palmer. As far as nailing down the date of
manufacture, can't help you get too close. When the original DW company
went belly up, BATF took all the records.

If anything is wrong with the gun, we can service it for you although
not under warranty.

It was made in Monson, it has adjustable sights and is blued, and it does have a small tang as part of the barrelshroud. i'm going to shoot it this afternoon....
