As far as I know, the barrels are not interchangeable since one is large
frame and one is small frame. If I can be of any help, just holler, I am a Dan
Wesson Distributor that also does retail sales.

There seems to be some confusion here. The barrels are the same inside dimention .357 mag vs. Max. The cylinder of the .357 Max won't change when the barrels...
