Bob and I are having an email sit down in the next week or so. That
question has come up a lot lately. Our current tooling investment is
limited to the full size and commander size guns. We have a large back
log of orders to fill. As time permits and we continue to grow this
product line, a compact would be the next logical step. If I learn
anything that I can pass along, I surely will.

This question might better be posted at the Dan Wesson forum at
www.1911forum.com. Phil, the marketing guru(?) for the 1911 product
line is on there and could address your question.
