Hello Patrick,
Measure your barrel shroud from front to the pistol frame to get the length.
Your model 15 will fit any holster made for a medel 29 Smith&Wesson. I use a
lined shoulder holster sold by S&W for my model 15. Yes it is marked S&W model
29 6 inch. It works great.

hello to all. curious to know how to correctly measure barrel length for holster
ordering and would appreciate recommendations for leather holsters. my model 15
was made in palmer, mass. and it is stainless. appears to be in fairly good
condition. traded in s&w 642 airweight .38 spl. plus $75 for it and i can't wait
to get to the range to try it out. don't know if that's a good deal or not, but
i've read good things so far. thanks in advance for any advice you may be able
to provide
