Something unbelievable has happened - Daniela played for her own
country in FED CUP. I criticized her for not playing in the past three
years - and now when we are on the very bottom of Fed Cup, she was
able to find time in her schedule. That was one of the best decisions
Daniela made in her career. If she sacked Nigel Sears because he
insisted she would not play in Plovdiv, than saking him was
undoubtedly THE best decision of her tennis life. No matter what was
the reason for saying good bye to Nigel, she should do this long time
ago and find much better coach (or more suitable one). She did some
good progress with Nigel, but they work together too long and since
2001 Daniela has not made such a big progress that she should have or
she would with somebody else. Nigel did great job with Daniela, but
for some time he was not able to give her more, she kind of overcame
his abilities and definitely she needs a fresh air. Hopefully, she
will be lucky to pick the best coach, so she can move in her game
forward and attack top 10. With Nigel, Top 10 would be unreacheable
for Daniela. It's going to be very interesting and exciting who is
going to be the coach....Any guesses?
