Daniela led 6-3 3-1*, then decided to make it difficult for herself.
In the third set, she trailed *0-1, *1-2 and *2-3 before breaking
for *4-3, and again to win the match.

The tournament-website had picked Daniilidou to spring this upset,
and unfortunately Daniela couldn't make them eat their words. :-||

Daniela, according to Teletext, "began sluggishly" and made a lot of
unforced errors against the masculine Philippoussis-clone that is
Daniilidou. Daniela's W:UE ratio was 33:66, Daniilidou's 13:33. The
match lasted 2h08m.
