A great win for Daniela as she had lost to Schnyder four times in a
row dating back to 2003, including heartbreaking losses at both the
Athens Olympics and the US Open 2004. Daniela is doing a much better
job in recent weeks of not losing her nerve.

And it's not as though Schnyder is in a slump, either - she won the
Cincinnati title last month, and was a second-set tiebreak away from
beating Venus Williams at Stanford!

A commendable fightback from 3-5 to 6-5 by Daniela! But she missed
two set-points on Davenport's serve.

point), Davenport won 6-2 7-6 (7/5) at 14:41 "when Hantuchová's two-
