(Trans World Sport may be televised in other countries, but the
details in this message are specific to the UK.)
This week's Trans World Sport is repeated with sign-language at
4:30am BST on {Wednesday night/Thursday morning 29th June} on
Channel 4.
The tennis was 15 minutes into Sunday's broadcast of Trans World
Sport, so I recommend 4:44am as a safe start-time for timer-record.
The Daniela documentary immediately follows highlights of the
Birmingham final. Daniela looked gorgeous, and spoke in Slovak, but
unfortunately they marred it by using a voiceover instead of
subtitles for translation. :-||
Daniela said she never expected to get this far when she started
playing tennis, that she trained at the Nick Bollettieri when she
was 13/14 which taught her to push herself as hard as she could, and
helped her to overcome her slump of 2003/4. She said she wanted to
win Wimbledon more than any other tournament. She also said that her
grandmother [Helena Hantuchová], who was her first coach, turned 80
in January and still skis, plays tennis and swims regularly!
They showed a few points from the Indian Wells 2002 final too.
