An "error-strewn win" according to the Associated Press. Daniela
needs to be beating this class of opponent (Li is ranked #67) in
straight sets if she's going to push on back into the top ten.

- DANIELA HANTUCHOVÁ [8] lt. Svetlana Kuznetsova, 3-6 6-1 7-5

Daniela is ranked #14 to Kuznetsova's #15, but Kuznetsova seems to
play better in tight situations, having beaten Daniela in the
Eastbourne 2004 final after Daniela had served for the match at 6-2
*6-5 (30/30), and gone on to win the US Open that year.

The manly Kuznetsova served huge, with 14 aces (the last on match-
point), but had trouble converting break-points against Daniela. The
third set went with serve, Daniela serving first and having a 5-4*
lead. Unfortunately Kuznetsova scored the vital break at 5-5, and
the rest is history.

We could have another mouthwatering Daniela v Bepa match in the
second round here. I'm pretty confident of Daniela beating Peschke,
who lost 6-2 6-1 to Obata at Tokyo and 6-1 6-1 to Razzano at Paris,
and pulled out of Antwerp with a right-wrist sprain after beating
Karolina Šprem 6-1 6-2.

I'm more worried about Bepa keeping up her end of the bargain.
Although Li is on a three-match losing-streak, Bepa is on a five-
match losing-streak, and Li gave Daniela such a torrid time at Dubai.
