Daniela is into the mixed doubles final, which will be played on
Thursday!

I was there when Daniela lost to Yan and Zheng at Birmingham 2004 -
but with Nathalie Dechy.

I was there when Dani and Sugi won the doubles-title at Birmingham
2005! :-)

How ironic that Daniela should have to play against her current
women's doubles partner, and her old mixed doubles partner with whom
she won the Australian Open 2002 and was runner-up at Wimbledon 2002
(Daniela won Wimbledon 2001 with Leos Friedl).

Daniela just needs a US Open title to complete a career Grand Slam
in mixed doubles, having won the French Open 2005 with Fabrice
Santoro.
