In this week's Trans World Sport, there are three points from the
recent Los Angeles final between Daniela Hantuchová and Kim
Clijsters:

* Clijsters serving 1-1: Wide serve, Daniela hit a forehand return
down the line, forcing Clijsters to hit a defensive backhand lob;
Daniela let it bounce and hit a crosscourt forehand smash which
Clijsters ran into a courtside palm-tree to retrieve with another
skyscraper-lob; Daniela forehand smash wide.

* Daniela serving 4-6 0-3 (0/15): Daniela hit a wide serve followed
by a crosscourt forehand to get Clijsters on the run; Clijsters hit
a short crosscourt forehand, Daniela a forehand dropshot; Clijsters
ran it down and hit a one-handed backhand pass-winner down the line.

* Clijsters serving 6-4 5-1 (40/30): Serve down the middle; Daniela
hit a crosscourt forehand lob-return that landed on the service-line
and inches from the sideline; Clijsters hit a forehand winner down
the line with Daniela running the wrong way.

For those in the UK, Trans World Sport is repeated with sign-
language on Channel 4 at 4:45am on Wednesday night (morning of
Thursday 25th August). The Los Angeles final is 33 minutes after the
start of the programme with Sunday-morning adverts, so a safe
estimate would be 5:08am, allowing for the fact that the repeat is
scheduled as being 10 minutes shorter than the original.

Trans World Sport may also be televised in other countries.
