Daniela struggled quite a bit to beat a player I'd never heard of
before I saw this draw. Daniela was 0-2 down in the first set, 0-3
down in the second!

------------

- Daniela Hantuchová lt. ELENA BOVINA [5], 6-4 4-6 6-3
- VERA ZVONARËVA [3] lt. Ana Ivanovic, 6-2 6-4

Daniela and Vera should have played each other in the second round,
according to the original draw... but now I've lost them both! :-||
There must be a conspiracy to keep them apart - perhaps the
groundspersons don't relish the prospect of how many squeegees would
be needed if these two played each other! ;-)

I followed live scores of Daniela's second round at
http://www.scoreboard.home.pl/ (I find it amusing how you can
actually type stuff onto the scoreboard!)

Started 14:12 CEST.
Daniela broke Bovina when she served for the first set at 5-3, but
was broken herself in the next game.


SECOND SET

Bovina serving 1-1: 40/15 -> 40/40, ad Daniela (BP), Deuce #2, ad
Bovina, Deuce #3, ad Daniela (BP #2), broken!
Daniela broke again to lead 4-1 with two breaks!
But Bovina broke back for 2-4, held for 3-4, and broke to love for
4-4!
Daniela broke for 5-4 after three deuces and three break-points.
Daniela serving for the second set at 5-4: 40/0 (3 set-points),
40/15, Daniela won second set at 15:32.


THIRD SET

Daniela missed one break-point at 3-3.
Daniela serving 3-4: broken to 15.
Bovina serving for the match at 5-3: 40/0 (3 match-points) -> 40/40,
ad Bovina (MP #4), Deuce #2, ad Bovina (MP #5), Deuce #3, ad Daniela
(BP), Deuce #4, ad Bovina (MP #6), Bovina won 6-4 4-6 6-3 at 15:14.

I can't remember Daniela ever surviving her opponent serving for the
match when I've watched her or followed live scores, although I've
often witnessed Daniela failing to serve out a match! :-(
