This group is the social and community outreach portion of the Durham Area Masters Aquatics (DAMA).
What is DAMA?
DAMA is a Masters swim team focused on building physical fitness, enjoying recreational athletics, and helping members reach their personal swimming goals. We swim at Campus Hills, 2000 S. Alston Ave.
What kind of swimmers swim with DAMA?
All kinds! DAMA swimmers include both recreational and competitive swimmers, new and experienced swimmers, triathletes, and fitness swimmers of all levels who are interested in working out with a group.
Why join DAMA?
DAMA offers tailored workouts for a wide range of abilities. Our flexible format and strong social interaction help create an upbeat, motivational setting for practice, in addition to strong bonds and a sense of community among team members. We participate in pool competitions, open water swims, triathlons, and more.

Schedule:
M, W, F (am) = 6:15 am to 7:45 am
M, Tu, W, Th, (pm) = 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
F (pm) = 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Saturday = 8:00 am to 10:00 am
Fees for the DAMA program are $7 per session or $45 per month. A 4 pass punch card is available for $25 and a 10 pass punch card is available for $60. Punch cards are good for two calendar months from date of purchase. DAMA swimmers are encouraged to support their team by paying the monthly fee.
DAMA is part of USMS. All participants are expected to be members of Masters Swimming (a free trial is available). You can register online, or print out a registration form and send it along with your payment. By joining the Masters program you receive a subscription to USMS SWIMMER Magazine. Your paid membership also allows you to participate in meets.
