We beat them by 10 points twice this year.  And we're gonna be alot
healthier than they are. They are missing several key starters since we
played them last.

We beat them by more than 14 this time is my call.

Looks like my online stalker is back.  I thought I was rid of him as I
just ignored him for over a year.  I just want you guys to be careful
with what info you put online.  Even with the precautions we take in
here hiding the friends list and monitoring the messages on the board,
you just can't tell who's joined.

This guys stalked me in fantasy leagues, youtube, this group,
Myspace.... it's ridiculous.  Someone sent me a nasty letter in the
mail.... No worries though.  I know his name and hometown and I'll be
contacting his hometown police department to see about a restraining
order.  I've had enough of this guy.

Just be careful y'all.  You never know who you're chatting with online.

Everything I've been saying about Aikman over the last year is true.
He hates the Cowboys.  BUT, I recently came across a guy on Youtube

And you can't blame them that much, a lot of teams do this.

The Pat's don't, but they have a different philsophy.

The Pat's will show you their entire playbook and won't change their
style of play on offense, no matter what. It doesn't matter what the
score is,how far ahead they are, or how late in the game it is.

Most other coaches in the league have a different philsophy.

Anybody else notice the moment Dallas had it's playoff appearance in
the bag after the Green Bay game, our offense seemed to magically
undergo a transformation for the worse?

I'm going to explain to you why that is.

It wasn't injuries.  Romo didn't hurt his thumb until the Philly
game; TO didn't go down along with Gurode, Watkins and Ratliff until
the Carolina game.

It wasn't that they didn't have anything to play for. They didn't
wrap up HFA until last week.

Here's what it is: The coaches decided with the playoffs in the bag
it was time to put the kibosh on the offense.  That means you STOP
SHOWING OTHER TEAMS your best down the field plays.

I don't think Romo has thrown deep past 20 yards more than 4 times in
the past 4 games.

Not only is the offense not executing well, people are overlooking
what kind of offense it is they are not executing well.  A basic
package offense.

Where is all the motion we saw before the snap earlier in the season?
It's gone.  Where's all the hitting guys over the middle on slants?
Think about it.  Lots of teams out there will simplify their offense
for two reasons:

1. The starting QB goes down and they have to stick some rookie out
there. That's happened to a whole slew of teams this year.

2. Coaches want to hide their best stuff for the playoffs and don't
want to give other teams recent footage to study of their current
personnell running their best plays.

For better or for worse, the Dallas Coaches decided to pull the horns
in and simplify things on both sides of the ball once the playoffs
were assured.

I don't happen to agree with that philosophy, but many NFL coaches
do.  That's why you see a whole slew of playoff bound teams drop
their last 1 or 2 games.  They not only don't play their starters as
much, they go simple on alot of stuff.

That Pat's / Giants game was totally different from the other games
this weekend.  Most playoff bound teams rested starters and
simplified what they were doing.  The Pats don't have that philosophy
and the Giants wanted to end the 'Path To Perfection' and refused to
just lie down.

Every game where the playoff team didn't have anything to play for
the last 2 weeks or so the intensity isn't there.

You think the players don't know what the coaches are doing? Sure
they do. How 'up' and intense can you get for the game if you know
from practice all week the 'good stuff' is off the table and you're
gonna be out there running the most basic offensive packages you have
against a team fighting to make the playoffs?

The Colts lost to the Titans last night following that EXACT same
philosophy.  Seattle lost to the FALCONS.

I'm not saying I agree with it, that's just the way it is.

Mentally if your guys aren't into it, they have nothing to play for
and they kind of know in advance they are going into the game
handcuffed by simple schemes, they don't execute very well.  I've
seen this the last game or two every year for most of the playoff
teams.

No matter how much we may wish differently, human psychology is what
it is.  And that's why you see this EVERY YEAR when teams take care
of business early and then still have a game or two left to play.

Part of it is coaching, part of it is players that can't get mentally
up for the game cause they know the coache's are treating it like a
preseason game.

I believe 'EMBARASSING' is the correct word. It was torture sitting in the rain
watching the game. My Cowboys didn't give me nothing to shout about - lump on a
log.  I agree they didn't put up no fight to keep Redskins out the playoffs.
They have to do better if they want to win the superbowl better yet if they want
to maintain position in playoffs.

McNabb was running, Roy Williams is coming up from behind, I'm saying
to myself, "Roy is going to horsecollar McNabb!"  YEP, He sure did! LOL.

If that happened to Romo though the refs wouldn't have called it.  They
didn't the last few weeks!
