I want to apologize on the behalf of my neighbor who is at the game. He seems
to be "bad luck". The last three games he has attended we lost.

@Arizona - last year
@NY Giants - last year
@ Home vs. NY Giants - home opener in new stadium this year

Now he is at the game in Green Bay.

I have told him if they lose, that I will PHYSICALLY prevent him from attending
any other games!!!!!

i guess i should've gotten to my point which is there are a lot of idiot GM's in
sports who for as intelligent as they are can really be morons at times. I
personally never thought vick was that good of a QB but i believe there will be
teams that weren't interested last offseason suddenly becoming interested now
that they see the fan base has moved on...especially if he's able to prove he's
moving forward in a positive manor with his life, which from what little i heard
about the guy he never seemed to be putting himself in bad positions off the
field on a regular basis (much like pacman)

but who knows, i would prefer that he never played in the NFL again....i'm just
not one who believes a crime is forgiven simply by serving prison time, it takes
showing that you've truly learned why what you did was wrong and i'm not yet
convinced that he realizes why what he did was wrong outside of the fact that
his choice cost him millions

that's what I'm going on. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think Vick was very
highly thought of as a starting QB across the league. He showed very little
development as a passer in his career, and also has very, very questionable
leadership qualities. Now, would teams out there still sign him and give him a
chance? Absolutely. But, I don't think there were many teams (if any at all) who
were foaming at the mouth to get a hold of him.

completely understand how winning anything in philly would feel a bit empty due

you were always that type of athlete who made major contributions to your teams

Now obviously atlanta is much happier now to have matt ryan, but at the time i
can count on one hand how many teams didn't wish they had Vick as their QB
> > > > >

why Vick wont get a legit offer next season. My guess is that philly wasn't the
only team interested but he felt like it was going to be a great situation for
him, yet as it turns out it really hasn't been (although he should've know his
playing time was going to be next to nothing if mcnabb stayed healthy). The
league has seen that the fan base has forgotten his actions and is willing to
accept him back in the league (well i haven't, but i'm starting to feel like the
miority)...my guess is that there will be at least 5 desperate teams willing to
give him a chance as their starting QB, you have Oakland and Washington for sure
and he could possibly have interest from detroit, st louis, tennessee, kansas
city, seattle, tampa bay, carolina, or cleveland all dependent on how desperate
some of these owners are.

Absolutely. But, I don't think there were many teams (if any at all) who were
foaming at the mouth to get a hold of him.

Vick wont get a legit offer next season.

Hmm...I'm still not sure. Again, I think he was moreso liked by the fans than by
front office people around the league. But...before we get into a long back and
forth about this...there's really no way to know for sure, other than to call up
all the GMs from that time and ask them. But I just don't think he was as highly
thought of around the league as fans might think, but he very well could've
been.

because for what he lacked as a pocket passer he made up for with his ability to
get outside of the pocket and pick up huge chunks of yards with his legs.
