Trust you Roy to get this article out to the group before anyone else
got a chance. I saved this article from
the NY times in order to make reference to it on my return, having
bought it in California on Jan 1st. Of course the electronic media
will make it across the pond before a British Airways 747 every time -
a lesson to us all who spend our carbon credits in this way.
Happy to report that cycling levels remain high in Santa Cruz and San
Francisco - super-wide roads and bike lanes do help.
