Hello,

I forwarded the URL for the petition below (to get the law changed to
remove the bias in favour of motorists) to my more than 50 cycling
contacts in this area. Our County Cycling Officer responded that only
244 had signed it (that was yesterday; as I write the figure is 285)
and he is concerned that this is very low for a CTC petition on such an
important matter.

The purpose of this e-mail is therefore to draw this to the attention
of those who might publicise it - in the CTC and CCN - and to request
that if this is not already in hand measures be taken to get as many as
possible to sign this petition. For example in Yannick Read's CTC
newsletter; unless I have missed it it has not appeared there.

But maybe this petition has only just been launched?
