Dear Right to Ride Representative
WANTED ASAP!! Reports of Difficult Experiences with the Highways Agency!
Please could you let us know asap if you have had any dealings/difficulties with the Highways Agency (HA) over proposed schemes?
At the next meeting of the HA’s National Road Users’ Committee (19th April), CTC’s rep Robin Field will be bringing up cases where our local reps are encountering (or have encountered) resistance to their efforts to secure the inclusion of cycle facilities in HA schemes, despite the fine words of the HA’s “Encouraging Sustainable Travel” guidelines. The HA have just asked Robin to provide background info for this agenda item.
If you have anything to report, please email me by Friday morning (23rd March) if you can. Apologies for the short notice.
Thank you
