Subject: [cyclomania] Climate Change Rally, LONDON

Not strictly about cycling I know, but I am sure people may be interested......

I have been told by Roberta Owen of Flintshire Friends of the Earth that a coach has been organised to get to the Climate Change Rally, to take place in London on Saturday November 4th. (Details below from FoE website.)

The Coach leaves Mold (St David's Catholic Church nr. the Fire Station) at 6 am on 4th November .  Fare is £20 return although if there is a full coach there will be a £5 refund!! The coach will also call in at Wrexham (Collection from Odeon car park (Plas Coch) nr. Sainsbury's) at 6.20 am

Contact Roberta on 01352 710714  if you want to book  a place  and make payments out to her.!

Put 4 November in your diary,
because you don't want to miss it.

This is when the Stop Climate Chaos coalition is putting on the biggest event of the year to launch its new campaign I Count.

We care about climate change and we think you do too. Your voice and your actions count, and this is why we're launching I Count.

On the eve of critical climate change talks in Nairobi thousands of people will meet in Trafalgar Square between 1-3pm, to send a powerful message to Tony Blair that we are worried about climate change and that we count.

There will be activities throughout the day and the Campaign Against Climate Change March will converge on Trafalgar Square for the main event.

In the Square there will be music, entertainment, special celebrity guests and speakers.

I Count is about making sure we get heard. By joining us on the 4 November you will add your voice to the many others calling for fast action to stop climate chaos.

Don't miss out. Make sure you're there, make sure you count.
