CHANNEL 4 TV - The TV Crowd ?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1439 of 2074 |
I have just returned home after receiving a call this morning from BBC TV Wales to do a piece at the scene of the Abergele tragedy.  Subject - roadside tributes and memorials.

Before setting off I consulted with close friend Bill Twigg, President Rhyl CC.  Since the tragedy Bill, Paul Loftus Rhyl CC Press Officer, and myself have been fine tuning  regularly on certain aspects arising from the event.

In the course of our conversation Bill told me Rhyl members are outraged and deeply offended by something which occurred on a Channel 4 programme called 'The TV Crowd, last weekend. Also been on S4C the Welsh language equivalent

I have never heard of this programme, let alone seen it, so I don't know the format.  But seemingly someone arrived in the studio announcing he had just killed four cyclists.  Whereupon there was loud laughter from those present.  At the moment I have nothing more than that, and Rhyl CC is mustering folk to write protesting in the strongest terms.

Did anyone see this programme, or know anything about it.

Regards

Roy
