To:- Chester Cycling Campaign
Just a public word of appreciation to your member Devid Robinson who today
went to the trouble to travel by train from Chester to Deganwy for this
Public Inquiry. He gave first rate evidence under vigorous cross
examination by an opposing barrister, and a solicitor representing objecting
vested interests. A very frustrating day given the nit picking nature of
the cross examination. David was allowed to make his statement out of
sequence as he had to leave early.
The Inspector will hear further evidence tomorrow, and then adjourn to a
date in the new year, to be agreed.
Maurice Clarke and I (both CTC Rights rep's) are eager to enter the fray
given that the opposition has now largely shown its cards - and a grubby
hand it is too!
Gud on yer, David.
And finally, Sincerest Seasonal Greeting to all CCC members.
