Against the background of the current debate on the introduction of the National Cycle Route (NCR) to Llandudno, and converting certain parts of the town  into traffic free zones, may I draw to the attention of your colleagues a particularly relevant conference to be held at Warrington on Saturday 12th November 05. 

 

It has become clear over recent weeks that public debate on these issues has been handicapped by  widespread misinformation and appreciation of the advantages which would accrue from taking certain decisions.  Arguably this may have contributed in part to Llandudno Town Council's reluctance to come to a firm decision on the NCR.
