Surely an excellent opportunity to sound your local authority out on sending a deputation of officers and elected members interested in people friendly streets?  Speakers are out of the top drawer.
 
I rode into Chester a few days ago and found the 'No Cycling' sign on the Dee foot bridge near the CTC cafe a bit incongruous.  Would the world as we know it come to an end if this was open to cycling ?
