If you are thinking of going on any part of the Sustrans Chester to Preston bike ride this weekend (17^th & 18^th September) please note the changes below.

 

1. The start time has been brought forward following a reassessment of the timings for the Chester to Southport leg.  The ride will now leave Chester Cathedral at 8.30 promptly.  Allow time to get checked in etc.
2. The route will be along the south west coast of Wirral (including Wirral Way) in order to highlight the need for improvements on this section.
3. First stop will be at Thurstaston visitor centre at 12.00 noon.
4. Second stop at the Mersey Ferry at about 14.00 hours.

 

Riders can ride the whole route through to Preston to join the “2move” Cycling Festival on Sunday afternoon, or join the ride for part of the route.  If you haven’t yet registered give Rhodri Jones-Morris of Sustrans a call on 0117 915 0109.
