The sands of time flow as before.  Extracted from the CTC Gazette September 1934
 
Asked by a coroner at Rhyl why he did not apply his brakes before he knocked down and killed a boy cyclist, the driver replied 'I don't know, I lost my head completely'.  Verdict, 'Accidental Death' without censure on the driver.  Things don't change much....................
