Re: [cyclomania] Ceiriog Valley Cycle

Thanks for that Roy. Funnily enough I actually did
"The Wayfarers" from Corwen over to Llanarmon DC one
New Year and on the way back over to Glyndyfrdwy to
pick up the A5 we were trying to cycle through about a
foot of snow over the tops through the Ceiriog Forest
area. However, at the time I was exhausted and I
thought we would never make it and as a confirmed
coffee drinker it was one of the few times in my life
that I drank some tea from a friend's flask and it
tasted amazing. We made it back and I now see that I
was in the good company of the great man.

It's good that you have shared your enthusiasm for
this ride, Graeme. After
all, what should a group line be for ? Thoughts on
campaigning issues
certainly - but also a way of sharing the pleasure of
discovering somewhere
you haven't been to before on a bike.

Bearing in mind the cycling folk lore attached to this
area, and its
association with the writer and 'lantern lecturer',
'Wayfarer', you may
care to have a peep at the following webpage on the
CTC Cymru North Wales
website -
http://www.conwyctc.fsnet.co.uk/pages/wayfarer.htm

Regards to all

Roy
