I do note too that some cycle-specific statments have been removed or watered down e.g.
P14: Now deleted "Targets:
10% of journeys to work to be made by bicycle by 2011 and 14% to be made by public transport. (In 1991 the respective figures were: bicycle 4% and public transport 7%)"P101: "encourage walking, cycling and the use of public transport" changed to "promote choice in mode of travel"
I'd encourage people to use the forms to challenge these.Sam
