I came across the planning committee minutes for last year and realized we
held the meeting at the beginning of June. Dawn is already well underway
planning summer league (she has done a great job of being organized and
getting the ball rolling). Also it would be hard to get the attention of
the college teams since the semester is over (though not impossible, there
are still representatives around). So it seems that now isn't the ideal
time to have another planning meeting.
I propose we set a time in late August/early September and ensure we have
representatives from the college and club teams. I think we need to
discuss:
a) CUDO goals (evaluating how we did last year and what we would like to do
in the coming year)
b) field space issues
c) nominations and elections of officers (last year we voted on President
and Field Director? Dawn has suggested we add a separate web master. We
could discuss if we think those offices are appropriate and helpful to
CUDO).
d) procedures regarding summer and winter leagues (see if we can agree on
guest, registration, etc. policies for the upcoming leagues)
