Jeremy,

Just wanted to make sure that you and the folks revitalizing the CBC were on
the distribution for the Central Connecticut Bicycle Alliance's EXPO coming
up this Wednesday. Anyone from the CBC interested in seeing what we're up
to is definitely invited. It prove to be a good model for the CBC next year
once all the re-org stuff is out of the way to help kick off the
organization and start bringing members back in.

I figure our groups are synergistic, since so far it appears that they
appear to be shaping up regionally - as might be expected of cyclists loathe
to drive 30 miles. It seems like folks attending the CBC meeting are mainly
from the S & SW corner of CT, while the CCBA pulls members from almost
exclusively Central Connecticut.

The CCBA is a regional bicycle advocacy organization with the following
mission:
- Promoting bicycling & human powered transportation as environmentally
friendly, healthy, and economical forms of transportation and recreation.
- Working to improve the bicycling environment and the quality of life in
the Central Connecticut Region.
- Educating motor vehicle operators & bicyclists about their respective
rights and responsibilities.


Come to the *CCBA EXPO!* to see what the organization accomplished in 2005
