Picked up an e-mail from Martin Cassidy in Princeton, NJ (on my bicycle ride back from Washington D.C. to New Canaan) alerting me to the story that he was writing.
Nice to get a page 1 story! A test run is a good first step toward realizing our goal. Bike racks were temporarily set up on Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit buses after we called for them in 1984. That led to permanent bike racks, a few years later. Same with bike parking on Caltrain. That was a test run at first.
Thanks to all at Connecticut Bicycle Coalition who have forcefully advocated for better Metro-North bicycle policies.
