Ratten sticks

Folks!

Well, let's change the thought here and talk about wood!   Ratten exactly.  I'm curious about how people choose their ratten and how do you cut it?  Do you actually use ratten sticks or something else?  How did Angel choose his ratten?

alan in Southold NY
