** From Rafael at Witchs Rock Surf Camp in Tamarindo - (6/28) Today is post to a new swell and the conditions was really good, because big set, offshore wind, open wave sometime, more in the left side. Tamarindo looks great this morning and all the local they was there, size 3ft to 5ft in front to the camp. I hope tomorrow makes a good wave too, and a little bit bigger. See ya tomorrow. estan muy buenas entre 4 a 6 pies con viento offshore y en la tarde con
algunas lluvias, el agua esta con una temperatura muy agradable. Ollies
Point: Con condiciones muy buenas entre 3 a 5 pies con buenos tubitos y
el agua muy agradable. El swell esta creciendo. ** From photographer John Lyman, Lyman Photos in Playa Negra - (6/26) AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: The surf at Playa Negra has been backing down after a great run of head high and over head surf with good shape. Partly cloudy skies with light offshores in the mornings and cloudy with a bit of rain in the afteroons. Water temp is 82 degrees. The smaller surf continues for the next couple days and then a new SW swell starts to show later Saturday with Sunday seeing some nice over head waves with fair shape. NEWS AND UPCOMING EVENTS- Noticias y dias especiales: Newest batch of guest surfer photos at www.lymanphotos.sbpix.com ** From Andrew at SurfingNosara.com in Playa Guiones (6/29) - You can tell that the swell is super South today as Magic is calling it a 5 star day, and we are at head high with some overhead sets... it isn't really getting in here... I bet some of the South facing beaches are FIRING this morning... Guiones is looking real fun with good lines, most aren't closing out, there are some shutting down... some morning sickness on it today as the photos were taken at 6AM, kind of early for me... should get better as the tide starts fililng in... We have a high tide this morning at 11...
** From Chuck at Walking on Water Surf Shop in Jaco - (6/28) AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Small fun surf with the occasional chest high set with close intervals , kind of straight on so you got to pick and choose but still quite fun ! ** From Brice at Land Assurance in Dominical (6/28) - AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Chest to head high with good long runs for Dominical. The red tide is still smelling things up a bit, but it is mostly gone now. Medium mid-day wind but good in the morning and evening. WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves) - Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): A little swell is coming that should push the waves to head high with overhead sets over the weekend. Monday and Tuesday look a little less defined. BEST PLACE TO
SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a surfear este fin de
