** From Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas in Playa Grande (6/7)-

AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Mostly sloppy waves, no crowds, take your chances.

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves) - Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): There are windows of glassy surf in the mornings and afternoons between rain storms.  Don't fool around with the lightning.

** From Rafael at Witchs Rock Surf Camp in Tamarindo - (6/7)

For this afternoon the conditions was much better then this morning, Offshore wind, glassy, raining, more consisten wave and set 2ft to 4ft in Tamarindo, really good for all the surfers, I hope so, tomorrow making better conditions for surf in the morning, and see ya in the next report..Pura Vida

** From photographer John Lyman, Lyman Photos in Playa Negra - (6/5)

AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: We have seen an increase in the surf over the last couple days. Head high on the sets with fair shape. The onshore flow continues. It's not too bad early but it gets to blowing pretty hard by 10:00. Water temp is 82 degrees. Partly cloudy skies in the mornings and raining in the afternoons. The waves will stay in the head high to a couple feet overhead range for the next week or so. The wind will tend to blow less in the upcoming week so the shape should get pretty good. The tide is low mid day and high tide will be coming up early through the next week. Check Playa Negra early for some fun ones with not too many people out there and then head to Playa Avellanas for the low tide sessions.

** From Erik at SurfingNosara.com in Playa Guiones (6/8) -

We have a real swell in the water today, and it is just the beginning for us...  The whole week is blowing up with 5 stars on Magic... so we are in for well overhead surf from here on out.  Today is just the tip, and it is already a foot or two overhead and looking pretty fun!  The wind is playing some tricks today, so I am not sure how long it will stay good, so the report is short as I am off to try to sneak in a few.  Have a good Sunday and get ready for some sick shots this week...

** From Brice at Land Assurance in Dominical (6/8) -

AREA WAVE HEIGHTS AND CONDITIONS - Tamano de las olas y condiciones: Nice head high waves with offshore winds in the morning.  Peaky but a little stormy.

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEKEND (weather and waves) - Que va a pasar este fin de semana (clima y olas): Similar conditions through Tuesday when we should be getting the beginning of a nice southern swell.  Should pick up to well overhead with occasional double overhead sets by Wednesday.

BEST PLACE TO SURF THIS WEEKEND IN YOUR AREA - El mejor lugar a surfear este fin de semana en su area: Right now either the beach at Dominical or Playa Hermosa.  By Tuesday/Wednesday I imagine the point will be working if the conditions are not too stormy.  Right now, it looks like the stormy conditions are past, but one never knows at this time of year.
