Jaco - rent or bring board?   Message List

Re: [crsurf] Re: Jaco - rent or bring board?: or leave a board year round

Dear Enrique:

What our group does is leave boards down there year round in storage. One can
quickly justify paying for a new board by not paying airlines for back and forth
transport for each trip, during which damage is likely to occur anyway.

Once a year trips can justify the cost of leaving a board in 3 years or so
(depending on the cost of the new board), more frequent trips justify the cost
of leaving a board down there more quickly.

Have fun.

Thanks for all the posts. I think I'm going to bring the long board
my wife bought me for my 40th and possibly rent something shorter
should I get ambitious.

Thanks everyone.

Enrique
