Thanks for the link - I will get a few "out there," and participate if I can.
I have a question I thought someone might be able to answer.
On Monday, I was riding home from work on my bike, of course. I went thru the
stop sign at 14th and Sanchez here in SF and ended up getting stopped by a
motorcycle cop and ticketed. I would have seen the cop, BUT the MUNI bus
blocked my view, plus they NEVER give tickets for that, but anyway....
Is there any way to get out of paying it. On my ticket, there is no specific
date to appear, but it says I can go to 850 Bryant within 21 days.....to pay, I
assume, but what about to dispute or see if the cop shows up or however that
works.
Or should I just pay it...cuz I did go thru the sign. I thought of it after the
fact, but I should have asked the officer to follow me home down Valencia and
give tickets to everyone double-parked in the bike lane -- an offense I never
see ticketed, much worse than me SAFELY suverying the siuation and going thru
the stop sign.
Any input is appreciated!
By the way, looking forward to this month's CM in SF. Should be a good ride. I
hope we see lots of signs. I am thinking of going with one:
"Hey King George, Bomb The Suburbs, End Car Dependency!"
See ya.

=v= Some San Francisco CM "affinity groups" are thinking
along the same lines. There's a flier here:
http://www.scorcher.org/screed/changing.html#againstwar
And a similar flier two down from there. Feel free to adapt
the idea and/or fliers to your locales. And let's not
forget this classic:
http://www.scorcher.org/screed/riding.html#notbombs
Print 'em up, spread the word, and bike against war.
