I don't think you CPFers have anything scheduled This Saturday. I'm
organizing a round of quarter Skins play at the Mastin Lake course
this Saturday morning at 10.

The first ace hit wins my sparkle Squall that comes with a ticket for
a shot at 18 blood red dipped Mach IIIs! How's that for little extra
motivation? It should also mess with the tee shot strategy on those
short holes!

Entry is $4.50 (25 cents per hole preferably mostly in quarters).
Show up with correct change or forget it. Each skin is worth the
number of players times .25. In other words, If we have 4 players
each hole is worth a dollar. The most you can lose is your entry fee
unless you want to make side bets. We are not playing for score so
tags are normally not in play.

If you have never played skins its a real hoot and some serious
strategy comes into play on nearly every shot. On a short course, the
holes tend to get pushed (two or more players tie for the lowest
score) and the money and tension build hole by hole. You have to win
the hole outright to win the skin or skins. One time I won 16 skins
with the only deuce on #16 at Brahan in a group of at least 7. I
won't mention which local pros were playing that day . I'll just say
I was really lucky to get the only deuce.

We'll meet about 9:45 and look to start play right at 10:00.
