Hi there,

I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I

I am passing all of your emails to "Guy" who is already organizing
games that will happen every saturday at that same location. (@10am)
His list has over 130 people, so I figured would be better to merge our
list with his.

LOOK for the EVITE invitation to respond whether or not you can come
and play.

We won't be using the yahoo polls anymore.

I may have told this group I would come up there, but I found a game
in SF that I'm committed to for at least this upcoming Sat afternoon.
It'll be our first time meeting, so we'll see what happens from there.

There are screencast demos on how it works - we tried to make it
straightforward/obvious, but you can let us know if it's not.

There really needs to be, like, 18,000 more pickup soccer games.

Thanks for your interest in playing soccer saturday mornings in the Corte Madera
Town Park.
As of today we have 5 interested people, so we'll have to promote this group
somehow if we
want to make this happen.
I am writing to the Marin coed soccer league (which won't start the season til
october?), to
see if they can tell their players about our idea.
If you all know of people or groups interested, please let them know.

Time: 9 or 10 am on saturdays.

I'll let you all know of the progress and please check back on this site for
updates.
