With the rules. OK, I'm as green as it comes to Corkball. I've
ordered my set from Markhwort, have my two balls and bat, and I've
managed to wrangle a few softball buddies to give corkball a go-round
this off-season. Just one problem, I'm a little mixed up about the
rules (and can't find a St. Lousian in Denver). Here's my question:
When laying out the field of play according to the diagram that
comes with Markwort's instructions I am a bit confused about the 15'
half circle. Does the 15 feet describe the diameter, circu, ference, or
radius of the circle/half-circle. And does anything that lands outside
that half-circle constitue a hit. Assume I am using an open field,
does that mean that any foul ball that and goes in the air straight
back and lands 16 feet behind home plate is a hit?
I know there are many variations of this game, and I hope I'm not
reading too much into it. Just wanted to get it right. Any help
whatsoever would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason in Denver, CO
