Reinhold Flooring clinched the Stege Division Title last night as
Kutis Funeral Homes lost to Markwort Sporting Goods thus ending any
chance of Kutis catching Flooring in the Stege Division. Reinhold
can now sit back and relax for the rest of the season and get ready
for playoffs.

In the Young Division the battle for league champ and jacket winner
continues with Ziegenhein Funeral Homes leading Kreigshauser
Mortuaries by three points with just 3 games remaining in the season.

Last night saw both Ziegenhein and Kreigshauser win their respective
games. "Time is running out for "Crutchie" Tim Kobler and team"
said Bob Young of Ziegenhein who has been out with a back injury
caused by his pummeling of the corkball earlier this season. The
two teams playeach other the last game of the season which could
lead to an interesting finish if Kreigshauser can close the gap.

In the race for batting champ, Tim Kobler leads the way with a .505
ave. followed by Jeff Greaves at .490, Bob Eller at .481, and Curt
Wisely at a distant .465.

Kobler, who also leads the league in home runs and triples and is
second in doubles (and works at a hospital and probably has access
to some type of steroids) was asked about his average and power
numbers this year and the possible use of steriods. He would only
say that "He was here to discuss the future and not the past".

"I don't get it said" said Harry Liep. "Three years ago this Kobler
guy weighed about 150 pounds and couldn't hit his way out of a wet
paper bag. Now he's 190 pounds and leading the league in home runs
and triples? It just doens't make sence. You can't tell me this
guy isn't juicing".

On another note, in the race for league E.R.A. leader, Bob Eller
leads the way with a .059 followed by Jeff Vilemr at .067, and Jeff
Greaves at .095. Good luck to all.
