It's great to hear that corkball will once again be a part of the
Washington area.

You know, about 10 years ago there use to be a Villa Ridge Corkball
Club located out your way just down the road from the Tri County
Truck Stop. You may be able to find some of their old players.

I would be more than happy to help you get started. Feel free to e-
mail me with any questions.

I guess your first concerns would be field layout and the purchase of
real corkballs. Corkballs can be purchased at a number of different
places. In St. Louis, Johnny Macs Sporting Goods Sell them. You can
also find a number of places on the internet.

The Markwort sporting goods web sight has a picture of a corkball
field layout (although is is a bit incorrect) that would help you get
started in your field layout. There are a couple of different
layouts use by St. Louis area Leagues. I would be happy to explain
them to you and you can choose which one best fits your league's
needs.

Our club plays on a big field and includes doubles, triples, and home
runs (250 ft for a home run). Other clubs just play singles or
singles and homeruns.

Feel free to contact me at the e-mail address in my information
contained in this website. Additionally, I can be contacted at
ROBERTY@....
