California - the only state where "cancelled due to earthquake" is
both valid and not all that unusual. Look forward to posts from y'all
in a few weeks. Hope nothing got destroyed and nobody got hurt. The
quake's epicenter was in Gilroy - I immediately thought 'how would
Steinbeck have written about this?'. (The Grapes of Wrath and Of
Mice and Men had extensive passages set in Gilroy).
