First of all, the California league plays with a
fuzz all the time. I tried to send them a bunch of
corkballs for Christmas from Markwort's site, but you have
to be a Markwort vendor to order stuff directly from
them and none of their affiliated vendors in TX carry
corkball equipment, so I had to special order them.
Hopefully they'll get there before spring training
commences.

Second, in '97 I was living in Dutchtown
(at the intersection of two state streets) and SBAC
was a 1/4mi. jog away from home. I would regularly
risk my life, going down there to work out and punch

Jefferson Barracks is pretty sweet, too.

My brother, John, you state quite eloquently the reasons for the superiority of the real corkball. You are right about the break of the pitched ball and the ...
1.) The safety factor = the wildness factor + the lack of equipment factor. When we were in high school, we came together around corkball. Two groups of kids ...
3.) The balance of the game. We don't know how any change might work out, but my suspicion is that the corkball would lead to faster fastballs and more ...
