Yes, the 3-gun match is the day after Christmas.
 
If you're off on Wednesday, get out of the house and come help up set up, especially if you're planning on shooting Saturday. Hmm, Christmassy colors.
 
Wednesday, 23 December Set up
  0900 - Set up 
 
Saturday, 26 December 3-Gun Match
  0630 - Set up continues as required
  0700 - Safety Officer Meeting
  0730 - Sign In
  0730-0800 - New Shooters' Orientation
  0800-0815 - Shooters' Meeting
  0815 - Hammer Down
 
Round count is 32 birdshot, 0 slug, 40 rifle, 66 pistol. No steel birdshot, magnum pistol loads, steel core, armor piercing, tracer, or incendiary ammunition are allowed. 
 
Match fees are $20 for CCPC members, $25 for non-members. Membership is only $15 per year (Proof of NRA Membership is required to join the CCPC, or you may join the NRA at the match.)

We have 7 challenging stages with a round count of 110.  No magnum loads, tracer, steel core or incendiary rounds are allowed.

Schedule below (assuming ample help with setup):
 
7:30 AM Setup Starts - please come early and HELP!
8:45 AM New Shooters Meeting/SO Walk through
9:00 AM Shooters Meeting
9:15 AM Hammer Down
 
If you bring a spectator, please bring eyes and ears for them.
 
Finally, be prepared to help reset and tape.  The match will move much faster if we all pitch in.

Temple IDPA is canceled. The rain isn't widespread. In fact it's mostly just in the wrong place at the wrong time for Temple. If you want to shoot, join us at the ARC for Texas Tactical IDPA.

17 stages this weekend including 2 low light and 2 no light IF you make it to all three matches. That's hard to find at most sanctioned matches.
 
If enough people can shoot all three matches in the same division, specifically the IDPA legal Class 4 at the Night Match in Cove and use the same gun at Cove and Temple IDPA Saturday and Sunday morning, I'll publish composite scores for our mini-Major event.

We have 7 challenging stages with a round count of 110.  No magnum loads, tracer, steel core or incendiary rounds are allowed.
If the range, weather or road conditions are not suitable, we will call off the match - check your email Sunday AM before you leave for the range.  No message means the match is on.

Schedule below (assuming ample help with setup):
 
7:30 AM Setup Starts - please come early and HELP!
8:45 AM New Shooters Meeting/SO Walk through
9:00 AM Shooters Meeting
9:15 AM Hammer Down
 
If you bring a spectator, please bring eyes and ears for them.
 
Finally, be prepared to help reset and tape.  The match will move much faster if we all pitch in.

This is an IDPA match. All IDPA equipment and competition rules will be enforced, except we allow gun mounted lights and lasers so people can exercise their duty or home defense guns (Class 4 is the IDPA legal division) and individual daylight stage walk-throughs are encouraged for safety. 
 
Night matches are not appropriate for new shooters. CCPC members and experienced IDPA competitors only at the night matches. New shooters please join us on Saturday mornings where we can get to know you and your gun handling skills.

4 December Night Match
  1700 - Individual Stage Orientation
  1715 - Sign In
  1745 - Shooters' Meeting
  1800 - Hammer Down
 
Round count is 57. No magnum loads, tracer, steel core or incendiary rounds are allowed.
 
Special Night IDPA Match Divisions
Class 1 - Mounted Light / Laser     
Class 2 - Mounted Light / No Laser
Class 3 - Hand Held Light / Laser
Class 4 - Hand Held Light / No Laser - The IDPA Legal Division 
Class 1 & Class 2 require holsters that safely hold the gun with lights mounted.
Concealed Carry Garments are Required for all Divisions (exception - duty rigs)
Maximum Magazine Capacity for all Divisions is 10 rounds.
 
Match fees $20 for CCPC members, $25 for non-members. Membership is only $15 per year (Proof of NRA Membership is required to join the CCPC, or you may join the NRA at the match.)
