MAGNUS THE MAGNIFICENT
Magnus Michelsson streeted the field today in the 26th Asics Melbourne
Marathon.
Leading all the way, Magnus cruised through the first 10k in just over 32
minutes.
His winning time of 2:13:59.86 was one of the fastest times in the Asics
Melbourne Marathon history.
Magnus in winning todays race placed himself in contention for Olympic 'B'
qualifiers.
More than 6000 runners took part in todays festival.
The winner of the womens Asics Melbourne Marathon was Loretta McGrath in a
time of 2:49:02.
